⸙ vanderers

Meaning of vanderer: (mix of vandal+wanderer); term used to mock exiled wanderers that later was appropriated by the travelers themselves.A Vanderer is a dypopard who detaches themselves from any fixed home and pursues a life of traveling around the world.
Although traveling is indeed the focus, there are other things that vanderers should adopt in their daily lives, as these journeys are the basis for physical and spiritual evolution, so they all tend to meditate, practice martial arts, and improve on their own being, above all.
Meditation is done frequently, in calm, closed, or silent places, this leaves them in a state of ‘’trance’’ for an indefinite period of time, the objective is to reflect on… well, everything. Normally this method is used to get rid of recurring anger, frustrations, obstacles during travel, traumas from the past, uncertainties about the future, it is basically therapy, but done with oneself. These things together have a tendency to make vanderers dypos very gentle and calm, with an aura that reflects what they do.They're seen as ''unofficial warriors'' as they often help civilians on their travels and get into conflicts to which they were not called for. Although this is not considered right, they always have a principle of helping those they see as in need, even if it means breaking the law or getting hurt.

background

The first vanderers started as dypopards who were expelled from their cities for rebelling against something (or someone), since in the early civilizations, everything was very restricted, rules were very strict and few had an acceptable level of freedom. These where known as the first vanderers, once exiled from their cities, they were dependent on themselves for food, clothes, places to sleep, medicine, et cetera. With time they realized that staying in one place was not going to work, and the resources besides being renewable, were not there all the time.
To have more chances of surviving and possibly having a new life, they sought other places on foot, and bumped into other villages, cities, and even forests, woods and so on. With new discoveries and knowledge of other cultures and people, they realized this type of life was worth it, and a new way of life rose up. Now they valued their solitude, self-awareness and appreciation for all the variety of people and places there is to explore, and the difficulties that come with that are nothing but barries, tests and challenges that can be overcome with self-growth and letting go of useless things.
With time and modernization, the rules became less strict and ethics became common, dypopards could live as they wanted, but this did not prevent that in the past many were exiled, and about 80% of those individuals became vanderers. What impressed the autorities is that the number did not decrease once the dypopard stopped being exiled, but many entered this life by choice, and such thing irritated autorithies, as they didn't want residents leaving their cities (and jobs) to follow a ''mere doctrine''.

overview

Vanderers have since begun to be called and known as dropouts, vagrants, squatters, and thieves. "Thieves" would be a bit of a misnomer as it is based on individuals who pretended to be wanderers in order to break into cities, stores and other places in order to do criminal activities, but the authorities didn't usually analyze this in depth to differentiate these individuals from real vanderers.
In the recent times, vanderers are still seen that way, especially by leaders, rulers, guards, etc. The population does not have a standard way of seeing them, and their way of describing them is quite mixed, but they are not seen as threats, just a search for information or a quick conversation with one wanderer is enough to understand that they are in fact not a menace to society.

Scarabs

Scarabs are groups of dypopard soldiers trained to combat high-level threats. There are eight groups of Scarabs spread across the cardinal and collateral points of the globe, they reside in spaces called Great Fortis.
Each group has 8 individuals commanded by a leader, called Maestro, who is responsible for training and commanding the soldiers, nothing happens in a Great Fortis without first going through the Maestro.
Small villages are located in these areas with doctors, blacksmiths, cleaners, armorers, clerks and several others, all in the service of the Scarabs.
Scarabs are called in when the police or some protection organization is unable to deal with a specific threat. It is impossible to contact them personally, so a written message is sent, known as a ''Letter of Supplication'', it has to be sent by the ruler of a nation and soon after being received, a Scarab or a group of them will show up.
It is important to know that the Scarabs and Great Fortis are not associated with the government of any country, they are more like ''partners'' but are completely independent. They are an extremely trained group (physically and mentally) and will kill any threat that compromises the security of the state or country, you won't be wrong either you call them angels or assassins.

Weevils

The Weevils are evil organizations that practice the theft of 'rare materials', production of lethal weapons, creation and control of mutated individuals, invasions, assassinations, kidnappings and the like. Their objectives are to take over small and large cities in order to gain control of territories, manipulating their residents, as well as to hunt Scarabs with the intention of arresting them, torturing them, extracting information and/or killing them. There are 4 hidden locations on the globe where the Weevils' lairs are located, and each one is violently led by a Duxe, who dominates a troop of Weevil soldiers, very similar to the Scarabs and their Great Fortis, however, Scarabs base their hierarchy on respect and loyalty, with the Weevils, only the smell of fear and tyranny permeates the air.

Rivalry

The rivalry between the Scarabs and Weevils is ancient; they wage constant battles around the world that ordinary citizens are not even aware of. The Weevils always try to carry out their diabolical acts under the noses of the Government and its citizens, resulting in murders, disappearances, invasions, and even massacres, all in the name of power and domination. However, the Scarabs' sense of smell is sharp; they always find the villains who threaten peace, but currently, the great challenge faced by the soldiers in black is to find the Weevils' hidden hideouts, from where the offspring of evil emerge, and from there they give orders. The origin of this rivalry dates back to a few decades before the present day. During a victory celebration of former Scarab soldiers, 3 of their members and 3 other subordinates betrayed their comrades, killing 5 soldiers and injuring many others, leaving only their Maestro and 2 Scarabs alive. From this event onwards, the 3 traitors received another outsider member, thus forming the 4 tyrannical groups of Weevils, and the remaining Scarabs, with all the trauma and extreme reduction of members, rose again with new members and rules, which left them alert so that the same tragedy would not be repeated.
